Copenhagen's call for global game dev talent

We were tasked by Copenhagen Greater Region with developing an awareness campaign aimed at getting international talents within game development to apply for job opportunities in the region

This is a niche audience, skeptical of corporate communication that miss the mark on their specific interest and platforms, or doesn’t reflect an understanding of their culture.

Our solution was to bring to life the main character of the region’s most iconic game — Hitman— by leveraging that character’s equally iconic voice. We conceptualized an ad-universe where the man behind the voice, David Bateson, works in a game development office in the region.

HITMAN: Expat

In the various small films, Bateson, who himself in real life is an expat residing in Copenhagen, embodies the character of Agent 47 leaving the audience in doubt about whether Bateson is his authentic self - an expat working a regular job in the GCR - or if he is, in fact, Agent 47.

LinkedIn Videos

Through different scenarios, agent 47, reflects the exceptional perks and unique benefits to living in the region, such as comprehensive healthcare, flat working hierarchy, and paid vacation

Reddit takeover to meet the very specific target audience

As always, Hitman got the job done. KPI’s reached after 3 days.

My Role

Creative Concept

Part of our creative team, I was in on the ground floor, developing the concept. I took the lead on creating the pitch, especially the visuals, to the client.

Still Photography

I led the planning and execution of the still photos, balancing roles as lead still photographer, while helping with b-camera for the video-shoot.

Digital Content

Together with our CMO, I designed the ads and orchestrated a Reddit takeover to reach game developers, help spreading the word online.
